The EPSON C3-V compact 6-Axis robot was designed for automation in Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide Environements. Exterior parts are treated with corrosion-resistant coating. Special material is used to seal components to enable long life and chemical-resistant performance. They are built to withstand exposure to chemical solutions and detergents from mild-acid to mild-alkaline.
With a smooth surface design, C3-V robots are easy to clean. The smooth surface prevents/reduces foreign substances from attaching to the arm. Safe coating material, approved by the FDA for contact with food and which is also used for kitchen utensils, is used for exterior parts. For oil seal lubrication, food-grade grease (NSF H1 Grade) is used. Also, wrist axis material is stainless, which reduces the risk of contamination by foreign substances.

With outstanding flexibility, EPSON C3 and C3-V robots were made for big jobs in tiny spaces. Our goal was to build a robust robot in a compact shell capable of meeting EPSON's high performance standards. The new EPSON C3-V did all that and more.
The EPSON C3-V cycle times are down to 0.37 seconds which is faster than many competitors SCARA models. All 6 joints on the C3-V are on average 32.4% faster than equivalent competitor models in its' class. The C3-V's footprint to motion range ratio is in a class by itself and the outstanding flexibility allows EPSON robots to do jobs that other small 6 axis arms simply cannot do (or that take much more cycle time to complete).

Our slimline body and compact wrist design enable grater motion range and less mechanical restrictions than comparably sized models. In addition larger motors and superior servo controls allow for fast yet precise motion control which means smoother motion for your next application. In addition EPSON acceleration/deceleration rates provide fast motion on a smooth path.

C3-V robots are built for use in sterile preparation lines for filling syringes, samples, or vials. They can be used to transport syringes to production lines or sort prefilled syringes into a pallet.
C3-V robots are used for a variety of transportation tasks in an isolator and then cleaned by VHP®.
Aseptic Clean Room
C3-V robots are also used for a variety of transportation tasks in cleanrooms which require periodic cleaning by VHP®.
Highly Active Drugs
C3-V robots are used in sealed environments to manufacture highly pharmacologically-active anticancer drugs or steroid drugs. With an IP67-grade water/dust proofing, the C3-V robots can be cleaned with chemical solutions.
